Standing Stones

I spent the morning at the Castlerigg Stone Circle here in Keswick (pronounced with a silent W). Really awesome.

One of the most interesting parts about your trip, Annie, has been the focus on the ancient, prehistoric parts of the British Isles. I don't often remember that that part of the world has been inhabitated by human culture for a long, long time.
